Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^

All on the Farm are well. The baby animals are growing fast. The lamb is a softy and the chicks are trying to rule the roost. In stating all that , our little calf is still little. SHe is over 6 months old now and still looks like a new born. She is not a fail to grow as she is healthy and eats well. She will make a nice house cow for some one,but, i will worry over her when it comes to birthing.

Been to the doctors and my back is no better but hopefully in time all will come right. So, for now, I get to play lazy person. Enjoying the littile laid up time , using it to write a book. It is more challenging that i thought it would be , but , FUN!. I am finding it fun because it is educational related and me being a teacher the task is providing stimulation of the brain. In addition, it is also craft based, this is providing stimulation for my creative side, therefore, all in all an interesting ADVENTURE.

Philosopher??? NO! just old LOL.

yep, did a disc in my back.. just one of lifes challenges i could have done without.. it limits in many ways but does not stop me LOL.

a wantabe writer.. will see how it turns out.. I use to write kids books but never took the steps to professionally publish.. this book is different , hoping to publish this one.. It is a book for educators..in schools and at home , it is just fun stuff for supporting learning....
